Mr. Sajeev has raised a problem regarding the shortage of water in Kollemcode.
Mr. Sajeev says :
" I think after a long period almost ( 16 yrs) we are not gettig water for our village through canal..and also most of the pond like perumkulam and all dried now. earlier at least in thookkam season we use to get water and all the devoties are taking bath from that pond. now no maintenence and no water in that pond. iam sure that in future our next generation will face a lot of probs bcas of dis no political parties are taking initiative for solving this probs. we use to get the water from neyyar and due to the dispute between tamilnadu and kerala , kerala is not giving water to us.
From manali water is flowing towards to sea. and the both state government are avoding our small viallage. and we have losed all our greenary and also it made a lot of climate change to our village. At least we have seen a little beauty of our village. infutre iam sure that we have to say to our childrens that once upon a time there was pond and canal and we had a paddy field and all.
ALL THE POLITICAL PARTIES ARE TAKING ADVENTAGE FOR THEIR OWN PURPOSE."
This is not a simple problem. It is one of the serious problem we are facing right now in Kollemcode. Apart from this we are facing lot of problems in our village . Here we can discus those problems and try to find some solutions.

yes. We are not getting water from Neyyar dam in last few years. In anucode, some of the areas we can't see even the chanal now.And another problem is,some of the people in kollemcode still didn't get electricity in their homes.

yes. It was 1540 this year....and it finished at 7.40 next morning....it's really historical...
